CommBank Young Matildas Head Coach Alex Epakis has confirmed the 25-player squad that will feature in the May camp. Australia will host their Trans-Tasman rivals, New Zealand, in a two-match series at the AIS, Canberra.
The squad features 15 players who competed at the AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup™ Thailand 2026 in April, and sees the return from injury for the likes of Sienna Saveska and Ischia Brooking.
New Zealand will come to Australia as part of their preparations for the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup Poland 2026™ in September, which Australia narrowly missed out on qualifying for, with the four best-placed finishers in the AFC tournament last month advancing.
The first match of the series will be behind closed doors, while the Saturday game will be open to friends & family.
