Football Victoria (FV) is thrilled to reveal the 12-player team representing Victoria at the National Para Football Championships from October 3-8.
The Victorian CP State team consists of players with Cerebral Palsy, Brain acquired injuries and Stroke related symptoms.
Matches are modified to play 7-a-side and 30-minute halves with players classified into three categories depending on their ability.
The Victorian team has been training consistently and 12 players were selected to be part of the team going to the nationals event:

The squad is assembling at Geelong Grammar on School on Thursday, September 22 for training camp, before travelling to the Gold Coast Performance Centre for the championships the following day.
Victoria’s first match of the tournament is against South Australia on the morning of the 23rd and they then face the NSW Sky in the afternoon in their second matchup.
Football NSW Blue defeated Football West Australia 5-1 in the gold medal match of the 2019 national championships.
The dominant 5-1 victory marked the 15th title for Football NSW since the competition was first held in 2004.
