Through Football Australia's Game Changer program, 14 Victorian clubs have been selected to act as flagbearers for the FIFA Women's World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023TM.
Game Changer is a development program which supports and empowers clubs to become more inclusive and build stronger cultures.
All clubs that had completed the Women & Girls module on the Game Plan portal and had received a One Star Accreditation had the opportunity to apply to be involved.
Each club will have six participants selected to represent their club as flag bearers, giving them a fantastic opportunity to be a part of the largest women's sporting event in the world.
