Football Victoria (FV) can confirm that a Victorian player registered in an FV league has been placed under a No-Fault Interim Suspension by Football Australia, following charges laid by Victoria Police in relation to betting allegations.
These are serious charges. Football Victoria reminds all registered participants – including players, coaches, match officials, and committee members – that any form of betting on football, whether at domestic or international level, is strictly prohibited under the Football Australia Registration Regulations and Code of Conduct.
