The Victorian Powerchair League (VPL) 2024/25 season commences Sunday November 10th, running over 15 rounds, culminating with the championship match in April.
All three clubs, Melbourne City FC, Westvale Olympic FC and South Melbourne FC have been busy strengthening their squads for the upcoming season.
Some key marquee signings:
- Melbourne City - Tristram Peters (QLD), Santo Bongiavanni (SA)
- South Melbourne - Matthew Mallows (NSW)
- Westvale Olympic FC - Dimitri Liolio-Davis (NSW), Abdulah Karim (NSW)
The above players all have international experience and we are looking forward to what they can bring to the competition during the upcoming VPL season.
Who will take out this seasons premiers Plate and championship? Will it be Westvale Olympic FC, who dominated the competition last season to take top spot and the premiers' plate in their inaugural season? Can Melbourne city turn the tables after a strong performance at club championships, finishing third? Will South win their fourth consecutive championship.
