A strong week of performances for Victorians playing across the globe saw plenty of minutes, goals, and key contributions from our footballing stars.

Teagan Micah – Liverpool (Women’s Super League, England)
Moe United junior Teagan Micah stood tall for Liverpool, playing the full 90 minutes in their narrow 1-0 loss to Arsenal on Monday. Micah made two crucial saves to keep her team in contention.

Steph Catley – Arsenal (Women’s Super League, England)
The East Bentleigh and Sandringham junior was rock-solid for Arsenal, playing the full match in their 1-0 win over Liverpool. Catley’s composed play saw her complete 38 passes, anchoring her side’s defensive and build-up efforts.

Kyra Cooney-Cross – Arsenal (Women’s Super League, England)
Ballarat City and FV NTC junior Kyra Cooney-Cross shone in midfield for Arsenal, controlling play over 90 minutes in the win against Liverpool. Her composure and sharp distribution helped Arsenal dictate the tempo.

Stacey Papadopoulos – Hibernian (SWPL 1, Scotland)
Former Calder United player Stacey Papadopoulos made an impact off the bench, playing 30 minutes and providing a brilliant assist in Hibernian’s commanding 4-0 victory over Motherwell.

Jordy Bos – K.V.C. Westerlo (Belgian First Division A, Belgium)
Hoppers Crossing junior Jordy Bos delivered another strong performance, featuring in an advanced role on the wing for Westerlo. Bos scored his side’s only goal in their 3-1 defeat to Union St. Gilloise on Monday and was a constant attacking threat throughout the 90 minutes.

Jason Davidson – Panserraikos (Greek Super League, Greece)
Former Hume City defender Jason Davidson put in a solid 90-minute display for Panserraikos, tallying 40 passes, one tackle, and committing a single foul in a narrow 1-0 defeat to Aris.

Jamie Maclaren – Mohun Bagan SG (Indian Super League, India)
Sunbury United junior Jamie Maclaren played a decisive role in Mohun Bagan’s 3-2 win over Kerala Blasters on Sunday. The prolific striker opened the scoring early, converting one of his two shots on target, and led the line for the full match.

Ajdin Hrustic – Salernitana (Serie B, Italy)
Heatherton United junior Ajdin Hrustic made an impact off the bench, coming on in the 63rd minute during Salernitana’s 2-1 loss to Juve Stabia on Monday.

Jackson Irvine – St. Pauli (Bundesliga, Germany)
Frankston Pines junior Jackson Irvine worked tirelessly in midfield, playing the full 90 minutes in St. Pauli’s 2-0 defeat to Werder Bremen on Sunday.

Denis Genreau – Toulouse (Ligue 1, France)
Brighton SC junior Denis Genreau made his return for Toulouse, coming on late in the 90th minute to help secure a 2-1 victory over Saint-Etienne on Saturday.

Nick Ansell – Nakhon Ratchasima (Thai League 1, Thailand)
Box Hill United product Nick Ansell completed a full 90 minutes in a tough 5-1 loss to Buriram United on Saturday. Despite the scoreline, Ansell contributed 47 passes and a key defensive tackle.

Sebastion Esposito – Lecce (Primavera 1, Italy)
Brunswick City junior Sebastion Esposito was an unused substitute as Lecce U20s fell 2-1 to Genoa U20s on Saturday.
