Victoria’s biggest All Abilities football event is back this August.

The Football For All Gala Day returns to The Home of The Matildas on Saturday 30 August, bringing together over 20 all abilities programs from across the state for a day of football, inclusion and community.

This annual event is a key date on Football Victoria’s calendar, highlighting the importance of access and opportunity for all participants in the game. Whether you're a player, parent, volunteer or supporter, the day offers a chance to connect, learn and celebrate the power of football to bring people together.

Event Details

  • Date: Saturday 30 August 2025
  • Time: 10:00am – 2:00pm
  • Location: The Home of The Matildas, Bundoora

Activities happening on the day

  • Inclusive matches and clinics for players of all ages
  • Grand finals for the Senior Division of the All Abilities League
  • ParaMatildas and Victorian ParaRoos appearances
  • Blind football and Powerchair Football demonstrations
  • All Melbourne based A-League Clubs will be in attendance with some merchandise, activities and more!
  • Fun activities including inflatables, face painting and giveaways
  • Quiet rooms and fully accessible facilities for all participants
  • Melbourne Victory FC clinic: 11:00am-12:00pm (Ages 5-12) and 12:15pm-1:15pm (Ages 13-18).

  • There will be food available to purchase.
  • Cafe and food truck will be available.

If you are coming by public transport to the event:

  • Macleod Stations is the closest train station to the venue.

Car Park Information

If you are travelling to the event by car:

  • Main Car Park: There are over 200 car park spots located along Sports Drive
  • Payment:  Parking across the University is FREE on weekends.
  • Overflow Parking: On large event days, the car park spots along Sports Drive are highly likely to fill up. There are overflow parking spots available.

Accessible Parking

  • There are over 30 parking bays located close to the venue entry, dedicated to accessible parking permit holders only.
  • Please present your accessible parking permit to the security guard.

Drop off zone

  • A designated drop-off zone is available in the 5-minute bay area.
  • Ubers, taxis, and ride-share vehicles are permitted.
  • The accessible parking and drop off zone will be monitored by a security guard.
