Football Victoria is excited to welcome back the Women’s Football Carnival of Nations (WFCON) for 2026, celebrating women’s football and bringing together players and communities from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds.
Held across three Sundays at The Home of The Matildas, the tournament is open to players aged 15 and over and offers a welcoming environment for all levels of experience. From competitive matches to more social, community-focused football, there’s an opportunity for everyone to get involved.

Event Details
- Who: Women aged 15+
- When:
- Group Stage: Sunday 18 October & Sunday 25 October (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM each day)
- Finals: Sunday 1 November (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
- Where: The Home of The Matildas at La Trobe University, Bundoora
Each team will take to the field representing a different FIFA nation, showcasing the colours, cultures and character of countries from around the world. Players don’t need to share the heritage or citizenship of the nation they represent, making WFCON an inclusive event that is open to everyone regardless of their background!
Teams will play a minimum of two matches on each group-stage day, with all games officiated by qualified Football Victoria referees to provide a fair and high-quality competition.

Eucalyptus League
- 11v11 format
- Participants aged 15+ years

- $50 per player
Please note - State League 2 or higher (including WNPL juniors) players are required to play in the Eucalyptus division
Wattle League
- 11v11 format

Bottlebrush League
- 7v7 format
- Social
- Participants aged 30+ years
- $45 per player
