About
Established in June 2015, the objective of Football Victoria's Women in Football Network (WiFN) is to support and celebrate all women in football, regardless of their role.
Currently, only 17% of players, 8% of coaches, and 10% of referees in football in Victoria are female - see FV's 2015 State of Play report which illustrates the gender divide across all our game segments. WiFN was established to address this imbalance, and was officially launched at the MCG during a breakfast and live-screening of a Westfield Matildas' FIFA Women's World Cup game.
