Best News Article
Debuting in 2009, the Best News Article was awarded to the football journalist with the finest news article as adjudged by the FV Historical Committee. With an ever changing media landscape, the award was discontinued after 2016, with legendary football writer Craig MacKenzie the only individual to have won the award twice. Several of the young writers featured here have moved on to establish careers within the game.
