Must have achieved compliance with the 40:40:20 Principle on their Board or Committee of Management at the time of application
What does this mean?
As we continue to drive towards equity in our game, we are committed to ensuring that women and girls and gender diverse people are afforded the opportunity to hold positions with decision making power.
In 2027, a minimum composition of 40% male, 40% female must apply on your Club's committee, with the remaining 20% to be comprised of any gender.
What do I need to supply to FV?
- A list of Board/Committee of Management Members, including Roles, Contact Details and Gender.

How long do I have to achieve this?
Clubs will need to complete the Annual Club Membership form by the 31st December each year to be eligible to participate in Football Victoria competitions the following calendar year.
