Governance

Requirement for 2024 AGM (held in 2025):

The club must have held an AGM in the 18 months prior to 1 December 2024 and have submitted the required reports to their appropriate regulatory authority (e.g. Consumer Affairs, ASIC)

What does this mean?

Well-governed Clubs are vital to our ecosystem. It is a requirement to hold an AGM annually that meets the requirements of the relevant body (ASIC or Consumer Affairs), along with the submission of reports to that body within 30 days of the meeting.

What do I need to supply to FV?

  • Date of Last AGM.
  • Date Lodged with Appropriate Regulatory Authority.
  • Last AGM Minutes.
  • Club Financial Year End Date.
  • Confirmation that the Club is currently compliant with its obligations to either Consumer Affairs Victoria (CAV) or Australian Securities Investment Commission (ASIC).
  • Nomination of a Member Delegate (this person will attend the AGM and can be one and the same as the Primary Club Contact).

Are there resources available to help our Club?
