League Honours: Women's National Premier Leagues
1974-1998 | 1999-2015 | 2016-2024 | Summary
By the time the National Premier Leagues began in 2016, a number of new clubs were formed to breathe life into Victoria's top flight competition. New entities Alamein, Bayside United, Calder United, Geelong Galaxy and Southern United all took their place alongside established clubs Box Hill United, FC Bulleen Lions and Heidelberg United. They were joined by the National Training Centre in a 24 round competition which finished in a battle of the new kids on the block in the first ever NPLW Grand Final - Calder United defeating Geelong Galaxy 2-1 in extra time. Despite a Championship in 2018, Bulleen have won the past three Minor Premierships, only to see Calder, South Melbourne and Heidelberg United claim the ultimate prize.
