Football Victoria (FV) is excited to release the first Regional Football League Structures and the 2026 Regional Football Calendar of the new FV Regional Football Structure.

We can now confirm that the Latrobe Valley Senior Men and Senior Women competitions will start on the weekend of April 12, while the Latrobe Valley Junior and MiniRoos competitions will kick-off on the first weekend in May.
The timings are the same for the Bendigo Competitions, with the Senior Men, Women and Youth Leagues beginning on the weekend of April 12 and the Juniors and MiniRoos starting the first weekend in May.
The Gippsland Competitions return one week later, with the Senior Men, Women and Juniors kicking their 2026 seasons off on the weekend of April 19 and the MiniRoos return two weekends later.
The Ballarat Senior Men and Women’s competitions also return on the weekend of April 19, with the Ballarat Junior and MiniRoos leagues starting the following weekend.
The last league to begin their 2026 season will be the FV South West, which all returns to play on the weekend of April 26.
We can confirm that the FV Sunraysia Competition Structures and Competitions Calendar will be released in early 2026.

The Regional Football 2026 Calendar and League Structures follow this morning’s announcement of the conclusion and findings of the Football Victoria Regional Football Review.
Designed to strengthen support for clubs, streamline administration and build a more connected football ecosystem across Victoria, the new model will see the above competitions now operate directly under the Football Victoria banner.
