Barnstoneworth United Junior Football Club

Barnstoneworth United Junior Football Club (BUJFC) is a thriving junior club based in Williamstown with over 450 boys and girls playing through all age groups. In conjunction with the senior club BUJFC are proud to support the local community and an important part of that is running the ‘Football 4 Fun’ soccer program for children with an intellectual and/or learning disability. We have been supporting this since 2008 and are pleased to announce we are running it again this year!

Collingwood Junior Eagles Special Needs Soccer Program

The Collingwood Junior Eagles program caters for children aged 8-18 with a physical and/or intellectual disability. Junior Eagles players learn to play soccer in a safe, friendly and relaxed environment where the focus is on fun, skill development and participation.
Junior Eagles players also have the option to participate in the Football Victoria (FV) All Abilities competition, with games being played bi-weekly on Saturdays for older children, and 5 times throughout the season for the younger group.
When:
24th April to 28th August
Time:
Juniors (8-15) Saturdays 9:30am - 10:15am
Seniors (15+) Saturdays 10:30am - 11:30am
Where: Collingwood City FC, Bastow Oval, Kevin Bartlett Sporting and Recreation Complex, FR Smith Drive, Burnley.
Cost: $120 for 15 week season – includes registration, uniform, coaching, team trophy and photo.

All Abilities Soccer Academy (former Doveton Special Soccer School)

Program: All Abilities Soccer Academy (in partnership with Hampton park United Sparrows FC) is a great club for children and adults with disabilities, filled with enthusiastic volunteers who will assist you to be the best soccer player that you can be.
When: 11am – 1 pm every Saturday
Where: KM Reedy reserve, Hampton Park
Cost: $ 11.00 per hour, including; Insurance, coaches tuition, training uniform and full match day clothes.

Program: All Abilities Football provides the chance for people with a physical and/or intellectual disability to directly participate with a local club in a fun, supportive and inclusive environment.

FC Bulleen Lions Special Olympics Program

Our soccer program is incredibly social and inclusive, designed for children, teens and adults with an intellectual disability. We welcome players of all ages and abilities, with a strong focus on creating a fun, supportive environment for everyone. New players are always welcome throughout the year, and we offer two free Come and Try sessions so participants and families can get a feel for the program before registering. This program is proudly delivered by Special Olympics Melbourne Inner East, offering meaningful sporting opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities — including pathways to competition at local, state, and national levels.

Glen Eira All Abilities Football Program

The Glen Eira All Abilities Football Program is a great way to enjoy the game, meet new people, get fit and have fun. Open to all abilities (physical and/or intellectual disabilities), all ages and all genders, this program includes training sessions and friendly matches. Come along for a free try-out session.
When: Sessions run fortnightly on Sundays (from February – November), from 10-11am
Where: Lords reserve, Carnegie
Cost: First session free. Joining Fee is $30 per year. Participation Fee is $10 per session, paid by cash on the day.

Hampton Dolphins Football Club

Hampton Dolphins is a parent run soccer training club for children, teens and young adults with special needs. The Dolphins cater mainly for people with intellectual disabilities, as well as individuals with limited mobility. Unfortunately the venue is not wheelchair accessible.
When: Saturdays from 1:15pm, commencing in April

Maccabi FC Mighty Bees All Abilities Program

This program runs every Sunday, during school terms, from 9.30am to 10.30am and is for kids aged from 6 to 15 years old with special needs. The program is run by Gabbi Tauber who has extensive experience in running group sessions and working with neurodiverse children in individual and group settings. This is a low cost program so that it remains accessible to all.
When: Sunday mornings 9.30am-10.30am during school terms
Where: The “Extreme” field at the back of the Caulfield Park bowls club
Cost: $50 per term; free trial session for new participants (Please contact us if price is a barrier to participation)

Manningham United Football Club

The program seeks to support children with additional needs enjoy sport in a tailored environment. Using a new synthetic facility, the experienced coaching team have a strong track record in developing participants' confidence and enjoyment of the game. Mitchell Rangers Soccer Club

Mitchell Rangers Soccer Club in Broadford created an All Abilities Soccer Program in 2017, which has since specifically welcomed children and teenagers of all abilities to play and develop in a supportive and inclusive environment. The program is the first known All Abilities program in the region, and they are seeking expressions of interest from the local community to come and join the fun!

Northcote City Football Club

Northcote City Football Club offer a 7-a-side football development program that caters for people aged 6 years or older who have a disability, with a focus on Cerebral Palsy, an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) or stroke related impairment. Catering for beginners as well as seasoned football players.
When: Saturdays on a fortnightly basis from 10:00am – 11:30am
