VPL1/2 Victoria Men's Player's Player of the Year
The birth of the National Premier Leagues Victoria in 2014 witnessed a rebranded semi-professional second tier, and with it came a Player's Player of the Year award which provided the next generation with an opportunity to claim personal honours from their peers. Tom Cahill won the inaugural award, with Brandon Barnes going back-to-back in 2017 before former Melbourne Victory stalwart Rashid Mahazi claimed the prize. The first awards under the VPL branding were claimed by Dylan Allshorn and Graham Kelly respectively.
