NPL Victoria Women's Gold Medal
The amalgamation of the Victorian Soccer Federation and Victorian Women's Soccer Association witnessed the birth of the Gold Medal for the best player in the Victorian Premier League. Mirroring it's Men's counterpart, the Gold Medal is voted for by match officials and has included several A-League Women's players, including Daniela Digiammarco, Amy Jackson, MelindaJ Barbieri and Catherine Zimmerman. Louisa Bisby is the only player to have won the award on three occasions, her longevity evidenced by the twelve years between her first and last.
